4th of July: Independence Day
Washington signed the constitution
and sat on the young empire's thronne
long way have they come since
and still they can slave many more
for it was on such a day
some gained their freedom
and other's was forever lost
God Bless America
and all of her blue-collar sons
Thanksgiving Day
the fourth thursday of november
we celebrate our great grandfather's creed
for through sacrifices and endurement
the puritans learned how to plant a seed
the Mayflower came to Massachusets one rainy '21
indians didn't knew but helped the best they can
turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and pumpkin' pie
that is what we eat to celebrate the indian's demise
4th of July 2.0
Washington signed the constitution
and the young country was born
for it was on such an occasion
hope for all was to come
picnics and patriotic parades
concerts and fireworks
this is what we do to celebrate
that freedom was forever won
the flag flies high
and the candle burns low
God Bless America
and all of her sons
Thanksgiving Day: the good news
Characters: Pilgrim and Indian
1º: Pilgrim arriving on Mayflower.
Plg- Hey, let's make this land our own. We shall practice our creeds and live on our faith. Winter will be though, but with baby Jesus on our side hope is the last thing to be lost.
2º: Cold and harsh winter in Massachusetts.
Plg- Brrrr, chilly, I think I'm going to die.
(enters Indian)
Ind- Not so! Plant this seed and build this shelter. The god of winter is relentless but with our help you will survive

3º: Springtime in Massachusetts, big party.
Plg- What to do with all these crops? Let's celebrate and honor those who helped us in our time of need.
Ind- Hai! Let's drink and dance tonight hoping for forgiveness from our gods.
... and they all lived happily ever after.
